This Saturday, August 2nd 2003, Portage Michigan, 1pm. That's the exact date, time and location for the last SVT/SHO Society meeting. We were originally going to just slip away into the night, but this weekend brings a few enthusiasts to the Kalamazoo area and we've decided to try and pull one last meeting out of our hats to give the club the passing it deserves. This is a very loose, open ended meeting. Our only official plan is to meet at Christopher Smith's house in Portage, then roll down to Cruiser's Pub which is only about a mile away. Depending on who shows up, the weather and people's schedule we may look to do more, or we may just relax at the pub and share old stories. In any case, it will be the last official club function...once again, that's Saturday August 2nd, 1pm in Portage Michigan. We sincerely hope some of you west Michigan enthusiasts have the time to come out one last time! Anyone who needs directions can email Christopher Smith at his email address, listed below.

Sadly our main SVT/SHO Society crew is starting to fade away...Christopher Smith will be moving to northern Lower Michigan in Mid-August, Greg Steffen is currently selling his SHO and moving on to other automotive passions, and Steve Chang is busy keeping West Michigan safe in his new role of police officer. Beyond that, the enthusiasm for our vehicles in this neck of the woods has died down, so we felt it's best to just let things move on.

We thank you all for four years of great times, new friendships and of course lots of fun.
